Google has confirmed it will be using factors that relate to whether a website is ‘mobile friendly’ as a signal in its mobile search results from next month. It means that if your company’s website has not been optimised correctly for mobile devices then it will affect your search rankings on a mobile phone.

It realises that more and more users are using their smartphones, such as the iPhone, for search on the internet and that many will be receiving bad experiences from sites that are not optimised for mobile.
